| You make a very powerful argument, and I agree with you about the contribution of a school to the community.
Councillor Penny Abraham, Bloombury.
As a councillor for King's Cross ward I'd like to add my support to the campaign for a new secondary school for South of the Euston Road. Camden has excellent local schools - including Argyle primary school in King's Cross. Emma and all the other parents have put a powerful case forward for a new school for King's Cross, Bloomsbury and Holborn. I will do all I can to help them achieve this. Councillor Jonathan Simpson, Kings Cross
As a Bloomsbury Councillor I acknowledge this issue and believe that we need a secondary school for Holborn and Bloomsbury.
Councillor Fazlul Chowdhury. What appears to be the situation in your end of the borough is that no one anticipated that an area then crammed with office blocks would over the years become part of a demographic change, most recently encouraged by Livingstone, in which empty and redundant offices are given new uses as hotels and residential housing. It always makes sense to plan for mixed use, and it also makes sense in terms of the sustainability of our cities to reduce commuting from the suburbs. It seems that you and other parents there are part of this demographic change, but are also victims because the infrastructure has not kept up. You need a secondary school and I fully support your campaign get one. Former Councillor Gerry Harrison, Cantelowes.
